OOTDs & FOTDs exam week #2

Hi there! So this week was my second week of exams. And just like the previous week I posted OOTD's and FOTD's on my instagram, which I am going to share with you right now.

This week the weather was much nicer than previous week, so my outfits and make up is a bit more spring-y-ish. My new purchases for spring also finally arrived this week, so you will get to see some new items.
Monday I had my history exam which I was quite nervous about. History is not my best subject, but the exam actually went really well!

Clothes:
Nude Blazer (new): Miss Selfridge
(nearly sold out online, think I got the last one in my size)
White Tee: New Look
Black Jeans: H&M
Shoes: Primark
Bag: Van Haren (Dutch)

Make Up:
Because it was a gorgeous spring day I decided to go with minimum make up, so I just put some Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 115 on my blemishes and filled in my eyebrows using the 5th colour of the bottom row from my Zoeva Nude Palette.
I also used my Bourjois Kohl & Contour Eye Pencil in 71 ultra black to line my eyes ever so slightly and added my Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara to my lashes.

Hair:
Tied up in a ponytail with some nice curls.

Tuesday it was time for my maths exam, which I couldn't finish because I didn't have enough time, but the questions I did answer went very well, so I will still be able to get a sufficient mark.
Also my new disco pants arrived, which I wanted to wear immediately. I don't really think everybody liked them, but honestly, I don't really care, because I love them so, so much.
Clothes:
Grey Tee: Asos
Black Disco Pants: Ebay
Necklace: Primark
Shoes: Primark

Make Up:
I again opted for minimal face make up and used my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer again. But this time I added some warmth and contour with my Sleek Contour Kit in light.
I filled in my eyebrows using the same Zoeva eye shadow and added winged liner on my eyes using the L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Ultra Precision in black.
I tight lined my eyes with the same Bourjois eye pencil and added mascara.
On my lips I wore a Barbie pink colour which is an Etos Colour Balm, without a name and only available in the Netherlands.

Hair:
I wore my hair in a high ponytail again, but went this for a messy look this time, instead of pretty curls using my Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray.
(I will soon do a post on other hair products I'm using on a daily basis, so keep an eye out for that.)
On Wednesday I had my exam I was most frightened of, which is Fench. I'm terrible at French terrible. But..... But.... It went well. And with that I mean that I got somewhere between a 4.5 and a 6.5. Even a 4.5 would be a good grade for me, that's how terrible I am.

Clothes:
I wore the same Disco Pants (oops twice in a row).
The shirt I'm wearing is actually a dress, which I just tucked into my trousers.
It is from Zara, but I bought it a while ago, so it's sold out now.
I'm also wearing the same shoes which are from Primark.
And my cat wanted to be in some pictures again.
But I just think she was just wishing me good luck on my French exam, because she new I needed it.

Make Up:
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, this time a bit more for a flawless face.
Sleek Contour Kit in light
Sleek Blush by 3 in lace, using the colours Crochet and Guipure
Estee Lauder Eye Shadow Duo in raisins, using only the pinky/peachy colour
Zoeva Nude Palette for eyebrows and the last two colours to line my top and bottom lash line.
Bourjois eye pencil to make the liner even darker.
L'Oreal Paris eye liner for a teeny tiny wing.
Lancôme Mascara
Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in first date.

Hair:
For some reason I woke up with very curly/wavy hair, so I decided to just leave it like that.
The only thing I did was pinning it all to one side, so I wouldn't be annoyed by my hair being everywhere during my exam.
And then it is today. Today was the only day I had two exams, which were Geography and English. Geography went quite good, and I think English as well, but I had trouble to stay awake during my English exam, because I only slept for 3.5 hours and already had been sitting in the gym making exams for a total 4 hours that day. However... on to what I'm wearing:

Clothes:
Lace SleeveWhite Top: Miss Selfridge
Black Jeans: Primark
Shoes: Primark
I think this outfit could have used a nice dainty necklace, but I didn't wear one today.

Make Up:
Same face make up as yesterday
MAC Woodwinked eye shadow
L'Oreal Paris eye liner
Bourjois eye pencil
Lancôme mascara
Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Afternoon Tea

Hair:
I wore my hair in a messy bun today, just to be quick and easy.

And that's it guys! My exams are over, done, finished! I'm still not realising that my summer holiday has begun, but that will be all fine once I'm in Blanes, Spain next Tuesday!! I can't wait!
If you have still some exams to do, I wish you all the luck in the world!
If you need some tips for revision, I've done a blog post in which I wrote down 20 tips which will help you revise, which you can check out if you click this link. (:

Also.. please let me know which outfit was your favourite and if you like me to do OOTDs and FOTDs more occasionally.
My favourite outfit is probably number 3, but I'm also really in love with my new top from Miss Selfridge. I just feel like 4 was missing some accessories.
Thank you for reading and commenting!
Love you! Bye!!!

OOTDs & FOTDs Exam Week #1

Hello everyone. I thought I would write a quick blog post between my many hours of revision.
Before the exams started I set myself a challenge. During test weeks I usually neglect myself a bit. I really enjoy getting ready in the morning, doing my make up and picking my outfit and deciding how to wear my hair that day. However when you're so busy revising for tests you can spend your time better than on getting ready in the morning and you end up going to school without make up and wearing leggings or yoga pants.
Now please don't get me wrong, it's not a problem to go to school without make up and in yoga pants at all, that's perfectly fine. The reason why I set myself a challenge is because, like I said, I enjoy getting ready in the morning and I don't want to skip it this time. Furthermore knowing you look put together instead of looking like you just got out bed 20 seconds ago, makes me feel better and ready for the day to go and do those exams and get my diploma.
So I decided that I would take my time each morning to do my make up, decide how to wear my hair and pick my outfit, because it simply makes me happy.
I've been posting my OOTDs and FOTDs on instagram and thought it would be fun to share them with you on my blog telling what I've been wearing this week. There is a link to every item I could find online.
And to everyone else who's also taking exams good luck!!!!

I'll start of with what I'm wearing on my face, which is the same for every day:

I didn't wear any foundation, because my skin is quite good at the moment so I just put some concealer on which is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in number 115 Fair. I pat the concealer in using my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. I then set the concealer with my Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder in the colour 52 Vanille, which I applied with my Real Techniques Setting Brush. Next up I applied my contour using the Sleek Contour Kit in light, which I applied in the hollows of my cheeks, on the temples, the forehead, the jawline and the sides of my nose using my Zoeva 127 Luxe Sheer Cheek brush (and ring finger for my nose). I then applied my blusher using the same Zoeva brush. The blusher I used is the Sleek Blush by 3 in lace. I applied the orange colour named Crochet to the tops of my cheeks and applied the pink shimmery blusher named Guipure on my cheekbones as a highlighter and a tiny bit on my forehead, down my nose and on my chin to give myself a healthy glow. I then give everything a last little blend with my expert face brush to give it a natural effect. I fill in my eyebrows using the 5th colour on the bottom row from my Zoeva Nude Palette using an angled brush from HEMA (Dutch store) and that's my face done.

Let's get on with each individual outfit and the rest of the make up.
I started my exams with Dutch on Monday, which went quite well actually. I wore quite a simple and black outfit, because the weather was really grey and it was raining a lot and I didn't feel like wearing something colourful.

Denim blouse: Primark
Black Jumper: H&M
Black Jeans: H&M
Black Boots: H&M (Sold out)
Necklace: Primark

I wore my hair in a ponytail to keep it out of my face, and took my fringe out but pinned it back to make it look a bit more interesting and put together.

On my eyes I wore:
Etos Eye Primer (Dutch Brand)
Blended out using Zoeva 227 Soft Definer brush
Bourjois Khol & Contour Eye Pencil in 71 Ultra Black
Which I used to tight line my eye and applied a bit on my lower lash line.
I curled my lashes using an eyelash curler from Etos
And applied mascara on both my upper and lower lashes using my Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara which was a gift from my boyfriend ♥

On my lips I wore:
Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Afternoon Tea
Which I dabbed very lightly on my lips.
On Tuesday I had my second exam, which was arts. This exam was quite tough, but I think I will still get a sufficient mark (hopefully). I wanted to go for a nerdy chic kind of style and wore my hair in a messy top knot.

My outfit is:
White Blouse: Wibra (Dutch)
T-Rex Jumper: Zara (last year)
Black jeans: Primark
Boots: H&M
Necklace: Asos
I wish I had a pair of nerdy glasses to add to the nerdiness, but I don't have them.

For my make up I didn't wear any eye shadow but went for winged liner instead.
To create this eye look I used:

Bourjois Khol & Contour eyepencil in 71 Ultra Black
Which I used to tight line my eye and applied a bit on my lower lash line.
I curled my lashes using an eyelash curler from Etos
And applied mascara on both my upper and lower lashes using my Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara

On my lips I wore:
Etos Colour Balm, which doesn't have a name, but it's the Barbie pink one.
My third exam was yesterday (Thursday) which was management & organisation and was really difficult. I'm terrible at it. So I cheered myself up with wearing a bright outfit. And I was going out for dinner with my boyfriend afterwards, to take a little break from revision, so I wanted to look extra nice.

Bright pink jumper H&M (last year) (similar)
White Blazer: H&M (similar)
Black Jeans: H&M
Black Boots: H&M
Necklace: Primark

I had to rush this day so I threw my hair up in a messy pony tail, which I would probably have done anyway, since it goes quite well with this outfit.

On my eyes I wore:
Etos Eye shadow Primer
I only used the peachy pink colour which I applied all over my lid using a flat HEMA brush and blended it out with my finger.
Using the last two colours in the Zoeva Nude Palette as an eyeliner on both top and bottom lash line using the angled brush from HEMA.

I wore nothing on my lips, just a bit of lip balm.

And that's it! I hope you've enjoyed reading this little post, which was supposed to be a quick one, but is already taking me more than two hours. (Oops). Let me know what you thought of my outfits and make up and tell me which one is your favourite. I think mine is outfit #2 because well... Dinosaurs.
Also let me know if you want to see more and I will be posting my outfits I will be wearing next week for my exams too.
How are your exams going? Hope you're doing better than me. Good luck!

Primark (Jewellery) Haul

So two days ago, my mum, little sister and I went to Germany to go Primark shopping.
We don't have many Primarks in the Netherlands and the closest one to me is a two hour drive, which is the same amount of time it takes me to drive to the Primark in Bremen, Germany. Easy choice: Germany it is!
I wasn't really impressed with the clothes Primark had in store, I had hoped to find some nice tops and blouses. However, I also needed to by some necklaces, which is what I did, a lot, like a whole lot. Don't worry I did buy some other things, but just a warning, this haul is mainly going to be necklaces.
So why not start with them?

Gold, Black, Red and Blue Chunky Primark Necklace  €6,-
This first necklace is probably one of my favourites. Who am I kidding? I love them all! But anyway this necklace is gorgeous. I love the red and blue detailing to give the necklace a pop of colour. It's a chunky necklace, but not heavy to wear. This necklace is perfect to spice up your simple, jeans and tee outfit, for when your going out for dinner or something similar. It would also look really nice with a simple black dress. This necklace cost me six euros, bargain! Especially for its quality which feels really nice.

Black and Gold Primark Necklace  €4,-
This next necklace is a little bit more toned down, but pretty nonetheless. I love the combination of gold and black and I think this necklace will go really well with most of my outfits, since black is the running theme in my closet. This necklace was only 4 euros and again good quality.

Gold and Silver Primark Necklace  €4,-
Next up a mixed metal necklace, with gold and silver. I wasn't really sure at first if I should buy it or not, since it's quite different for me and I wasn't really sure if it would suit me, but I'm happy I did. And for four euros, you can never go wrong. This necklace feels a little bit cheaper than the others because of the beads, but the quality of it is still quite nice, and I don't feel like it would break easily.
Tribal Black and Gold Primark Necklace  €6,-
Look at this necklace! It's stunning. Again a combination of black and gold, but this time with a couple of diamantes. I really wanted to buy a chunky necklace like this one, so I was very happy when I saw this one hanging in the jewellery section. I love the tribal print on the triangles which give the necklace a little more detailing. It's a bit edgy, but the diamantes make it a little bit more girly. I love it. Again this would go amazing with a black dress and the quality is really nice again. I'm amazed by the quality of these Primark necklaces. And amazing prizing again, only six euros.

Gold and White Primark Necklace  €4,-
It's okay guys, this is the last necklace. This one is probably the girliest of them all. The combination of gold and white is really pretty and easy to wear with most outfits. This would look really nice with a white summer top or even a top in a bright coral colour. The quality of this necklace also feels really nice and this one is again 4 euros.

Round Tortoise Primark Sunglasses  €2.50
Next up is another type of accessories, being sunglasses. If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have seen these already (link at the end of this post). I didn't think round glasses would suit me, since I think I've got quite a round face. But I tried these on for fun and was really surprised. They actually suited me! So I had to buy them of course. The quality of these isn't really that great. The glasses squeak when you open them and the frame is quite cheap and the tortoise print on these glasses is not the prettiest. But for 2.50 euros, I don't really mind. I will however look for similar sunglasses, but with better quality, because I do really love them and I don't think these will last me very long. Especially if you leave them in your bag, without a case, because you lost it.... These glasses do come with a little bag though, but that little bag won't really protect them.

Super Cosy Primark Tights in black reduced to  €1,-
Grey Slippers  €4,-
In the sale section I found the super cosy tights reduced from four euros to only one euro, so I bought two. I won't be wearing them now, because they are way to warm for spring and summer, but I will save them for the winter. I tried them on though and they are definitely super cosy. The only downside is that they are quite short for me and I have to keep pulling them up, maybe go a size up if you have long legs.
Another super cosy thing I've bought is this pair of slippers. I saw them in the pyjama section and just had to take them with me. They are so soft, it feels like you're walking on clouds. And can I just mention how cute that bow is? I've been wearing them all day today and yesterday and I don't think I'll ever wear anything else on my feet when I'm home. These slippers are especially handy for summer when you wear sandals and flip flops a lot, but when you take your shoes off you walk bare feet through the house, on the cold floor, which I really, really hate. So these are perfect for me and that for four euros and a nice quality again.
Brown Primark Purse €4,-
I also bought this little brown purse, because I needed one for when I go on holiday. I don't love it a lot, but it will suffice. And like I said, I really needed one badly, because I only have a couple of handbags, which are way to large for sightseeing in Barcelona.
The bag has a small extra pocket on the inside, which I find very handy and I do love the detailing on the bag, and I like the colour. Actually I'm not really sure why I don't love it. I guess I'm just that type of person who doesn't like small bags.

Black Primark Flats €5,-
Next up I bought a pair of flats. I don't really have a pair of nice looking flats, just some sneakers, but no pretty shoes. I did need them though, because you need a pair of pretty shoes to go with your pretty dress and heels aren't always an option.
I really like the shape of these shoes, they are a bit different to normal flats, but still really simple and elegant. They feel very comfortable for now, but I get a feeling I will get a blister on my heel, because I just always do with new shoes. However the quality of them feels nice and a pair of shoes for only 5 euros? I won't say no.

Pack of 10 Primark Clothing Hangers €6,-
The last thing I bought are these clothing hangers. As you may know I'm moving out this summer and I've been collecting so many things for my new room, including these hangers. I've heard so much about these type of hangers, but I never thought Primark would have them. So when I saw them I immediately grabbed a couple and put them in my bag. There were different colours, but I opted for the simple black ones and the nude and purple coloured ones. I've bought two of each colour which is a total of 40 hangers. I think that will be enough.
The reason why these hangers are so amazing is because they are non-slip, but that's not all. As you can see in the photos, the hangers are really slim. When I was home I was curious how much of my wooden hangers would fit in these ten felt hangers, well it were 5. Which means that with these hangers you can store twice the amount of clothes in your wardrobe! Or in my case, don't have to buy a very large wardrobe for in your new room.

This was my Primark Haul. I hoped you enjoyed reading and seeing what I've bought. What was your favourite item? I think mine is the sunglasses even though its poor quality.
Thanks for reading! Byeee!
